New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a series of student-friendly measures to ensure smooth travel for the 3.30 lakh students and thousands of school employees expected to commute during the CBSE Board Examinations for Classes X and XII, scheduled from February 15 to April 4, 2025.

In collaboration with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), DMRC has introduced special procedures to manage the surge in passengers on exam days efficiently.

Key Measures by DMRC:

🔹 School Coordination: DMRC has partnered with school principals to provide details about the nearest metro stations to respective schools, simplifying travel routes for students.
🔹 Informational Posters & QR Codes: Posters with details of the closest metro stations and a QR code for easy ticketing access will be displayed in schools.
🔹 Central Announcements: Important instructions and reminders will be announced at metro stations to guide students and ease navigation.
🔹 Digital Support: The DMRC Momentum mobile app and website now feature a list of metro stations closest to exam centres, helping students plan their journey efficiently.

Special Priority for Students:

Priority at Security Checks: Students showing their CBSE Admit Cards will be given priority at security screening, ensuring faster entry.
Faster Ticketing Process: Students with admit cards will receive priority at Ticket Office Machines (TOMs) and Customer Care (CC) centres to reduce wait times.

DMRC has urged students to plan their travel in advance to avoid last-minute rushes. Parents and students are also advised to use the DMRC Momentum app and the official website for real-time updates on metro services.
