“Election is our priority in Jammu and Kashmir. We hope elections will be conducted soon in the valley by the Election Commission of India (ECI).” “The poor will not be touched as LG has already given assurance to them,” he said.
He was addressing a party worker’s convention in Sumbal area along with vice president BJP district president Naseer Mir and other senior party workers, in which thousands of party workers participated.
He also said that those leaders who have misused their powers will face action, whether they encroached on land or used any government policy for their personal reasons. “People are moving freely on the streets, students are regularly going to school, everything is normal in J&K,” he also added.
