New Delhi: Newly appointed Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Saturday, marking her first official interaction with him after assuming office. The two leaders discussed the roadmap for Delhi’s development and key initiatives to improve the city’s infrastructure and governance.

On her second day in office, Gupta also chaired an important meeting regarding the Mahila Samman Yojana, a welfare scheme aimed at empowering women in the national capital. The discussion focused on effective implementation and outreach to ensure maximum benefits for women.

Earlier in the day, Gupta held talks with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) to address pressing infrastructure issues. “Discussed in detail all the issues related to dug-up roads, damaged roads, and traffic in Delhi, and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned officials,” she posted on X.

Gupta, a first-time MLA, was sworn in as Delhi’s Chief Minister alongside six cabinet ministers on Thursday in a grand oath-taking ceremony at Ramlila Maidan, marking the BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years.

  1. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the web the easiest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries
that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail
upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without
having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be
    back to get more. Thanks
