Controversial YouTuber Elvish Yadav found himself in legal trouble after an altercation with fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur, popularly known as Maxtern, in Gurugram. The incident, which took place on Friday evening, resulted in Yadav being booked by the Gurugram Police.
Reports indicate that an FIR was lodged against Yadav under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 147 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation), at sector 53 Gurugram.
Earlier in the day, Maxtern accused Yadav of assaulting him. Subsequently, a video of the altercation went viral on social media, showcasing the incident. In the video, Yadav, accompanied by a group of individuals, can be seen confronting Maxtern and physically assaulting him.
The footage depicts Yadav entering a room and immediately targeting Maxtern with punches and kicks, while others from his group also join in the assault. Throughout the video, Yadav and his associates are seen hurling abuses and continuously attacking Maxtern, eventually throwing him to the ground.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning Yadav’s actions and calling for accountability. As the investigation unfolds, both parties involved await further legal proceedings and potential repercussions for their actions.
