In a major drug bust, the Special Cell of Delhi Police, in collaboration with Gujarat Police, arrested five individuals on Monday connected to a substantial cocaine trafficking operation. This operation follows a raid conducted on Sunday that resulted in the seizure of 518 kilograms of cocaine valued at approximately ₹5,000 crore, underscoring the government’s commitment to its Zero Tolerance policy against drugs and the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

Authorities discovered the significant cocaine stash during a thorough search of Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. This incident highlights the ongoing battle against drug-related activities in the region and the necessity for vigilance among law enforcement agencies.

This latest operation comes on the heels of another significant raid by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on October 1, during which authorities recovered 562 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana from a warehouse owned by Tushar Goyal in Mahipalpur. Further investigations led to the recovery of an additional 208 kilograms of cocaine from a shop in Ramesh Nagar, Delhi, on October 10.

In total, the Delhi Police have successfully seized 1,289 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kilograms of hydroponic marijuana, with a total estimated value of ₹13,000 crore. The investigations revealed that these drugs were linked to Pharma Solution Services and traced back to Avkar Drugs Limited Company in Ankleshwar.

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has also intensified its efforts in this ongoing investigation, conducting search operations across various locations in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai on October 11. Earlier, on October 10, the Special Cell had confiscated around 200 kilograms of cocaine worth ₹2,000 crore from Ramesh Nagar, where the drugs were cleverly concealed in packets of namkeen.

As the investigation continues, authorities are determined to dismantle the drug trafficking network operating in the region, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts among various law enforcement agencies to combat the escalating drug menace.
