Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday said that the central government is going to take over the vaccination process in the entire country and there will be no state involvement in it. Soon after his announcement, on Tuesday the Central government released the revised guidelines for the same.
From June 21, the Centre will provide free jabs to states for the inoculation of all above the age of 18. The Prime Minister had also assured that vaccine supply would increase significantly in the coming days.
