The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that its online verification and re-evaluation system is functioning smoothly, with nearly 40,000 students successfully submitting their applications through the portal as of 9:30 am.
In an update issued on Wednesday, the board clarified that students can make payments through multiple banking gateways available on the portal, including those operated by State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank.
Multiple Payment Options Available
CBSE stated that candidates are not required to hold accounts with any of the listed banks to complete transactions. Students can use a range of digital payment methods, including UPI, net banking, credit cards and debit cards, through the designated gateways.
Board Addresses Student Concerns
The clarification comes amid high traffic on the verification and re-evaluation portal following the declaration of board examination results. According to CBSE, thousands of candidates have already completed the process without encountering any major difficulties.
The board reiterated that the online payment infrastructure remains operational and encouraged students seeking verification or re-evaluation of their answer sheets to use the available digital payment channels to complete their applications within the prescribed deadlines.
