Central government tells Supreme Court
After Bihar government gave its node to head into the death of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Union government told the Supreme Court that they have accepted the recommendations of Bihar government.

On Wednesday the Central government informed the Supreme Court (SC) that they have given recommendation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for probe into the death of the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
In the SC , the Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stated that the Centre has accepted Bihar government request recommending CBI inquiry into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Presently the Supreme Court is hearing a petition by Rhea Chakraborty to transfer the investigation from Patna to Mumbai.
On August 4, the Bihar government gave its consent to the CBI for the probe into the FIR lodged by the late actor Sushant’s father KK Singh. The government headed by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar officially by using its special power recommended the case to CBI. Leading to which the Central government accepted it so as the CBI can probe the matter of Sushant.
The petition will be heard next week. The state of Maharashtra is directed to place the investigation steps taken in the case before the SC.
On June 14, the actor Sushant was found dead in his apartment in Bandra. The Mumbai Police claimed that it is a suicide however there was no suicide not found by the investigators.
