New Delhi: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan who inadvertently crossed into Pakistani territory last month was safely repatriated to India on Wednesday, bringing relief to the force and his family.
The jawan, identified as PK Shaw, had accidentally strayed across the International Border during routine duties in a forward area and was subsequently detained by the Pakistani Rangers. Following sustained diplomatic engagement between India and Pakistan, he was handed back at a designated border checkpoint.
