Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt tested negative for the both the rapid and the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RTPCR) tests and he is fine, said doctor.
The actor was admitted after he complained of breathlessness and admitted in Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on Saturday.
After the actor was hospitalised, a rapid COVID-19 test was conducted which turned out to be negative. The actor, in a tweet, shared an update about his health and wrote:
“Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation and my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help and care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes and blessings.”
“Sanjay Dutt’s RTPCR test’s report also came negative, and now he will be shifted to the normal ward. Today he was fine and walking and his health is good”, said Dr Ravi Shankar, Lilavati hospital.
