New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to hold a key legislative meeting today to finalize the name of Delhi’s next Chief Minister and Cabinet Ministers. After 27 years, the party is making a comeback in the national capital, having secured a decisive victory over the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the recent assembly elections by winning 48 out of 70 seats.

The much-anticipated suspense over the Chief Minister’s post is expected to end today, ahead of the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for February 20 at 4:30 PM at Ramlila Maidan. The event is set to be a grand affair, with an elaborate cultural program featuring music and songs before the swearing-in.

According to sources, around 30,000 guests have been invited to the ceremony, including RSS leaders, spiritual heads, industrialists, and celebrities. BJP workers from across states, who played a role in the Delhi elections, have also been invited. Special invitations have been sent to ‘Ladli Bahanas’ and farmers from Delhi.

Speaking about the preparations, BJP MP Yogender Chandolia stated on Tuesday that arrangements at Ramlila Maidan are in full swing, with continuous meetings being held to finalize the details.
