Following former Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s nomination filing from the Raebareli seat in the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wasted no time launching a barrage of attacks on the Gandhi family and the Congress party. Speaking at an election rally in Belgavi’s Hukkeri town, Amit Shah expressed unwavering confidence in Singh’s ability to secure a significant victory over Gandhi.
“We launched Chandrayaan-3, which was successful. Meanwhile, Sonia Gandhiji attempted Rahulyaan nearly 20 times without success. Now, Rahul Baba has fled from Amethi and is contesting from Raebareli. Let me tell you the result in advance: Rahul Baba will lose to the BJP candidate, Dinesh Pratap Singh, by a significant margin in Raebareli,” remarked Amit Shah.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s steadfast dedication, Shah contrasted it with Rahul Gandhi’s alleged penchant for frequent vacations. “PM Modi hasn’t taken a single leave in the last 23 years, while Rahul Gandhi goes on frequent vacations,” Shah asserted.
Shah juxtaposed the alleged corruption scandals of the Congress party with Modi’s unblemished record of service. “Congress has been embroiled in scams worth ₹12 lakh crore, while PM Modi has served the nation as CM and PM for 23 years without a single allegation against him,” Shah emphasized.
Amid speculations of Rahul Gandhi’s return to contest from the Amethi seat, Congress named Kishori Lal Sharma as its candidate from the constituency, solidifying Gandhi’s bid from Raebareli.
As the election fervor intensifies, the battleground in Raebareli promises to be fiercely contested, with the BJP leaving no stone unturned to challenge the dominance of the Gandhi family stronghold.
