New Delhi: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi launched a sharp attack on the Congress party over its response to national security and policy issues, accusing it of being selectively blind to facts and evidence.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, Trivedi said, “Recently, even after the destruction of Pakistan’s air bases was clearly shown through satellite footage during Operation Sindoor, they (Congress) failed to see it. This isn’t the first time, they’ve ignored many such things in the past. When the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) came, they couldn’t even see the word ‘persecution’ in the official notification. This blindness stems from their myopic, biased and malicious vision. They are unable to see what has been categorically explained…”
Trivedi’s remarks reflect the BJP’s continued efforts to question the Congress party’s stand on key national security actions and legislative decisions like the CAA. The BJP MP emphasized that factual evidence—such as satellite imagery—was ignored by the opposition purely due to political motivations.
