In a shocking turn of events, BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad has been apprehended by the police after allegedly opening fire at Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) leader Mahesh Gaikwad inside the Hill Line Police Station in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. The incident, which unfolded on Saturday, left both Gaikwad and a supporter injured by multiple bullets, casting a shadow over the political landscape of the region.
The confrontation ensued during a discussion between BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad and city chief Mahesh Gaikwad, with senior inspector Anil Jagtap present at the police station.
