Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has made a fiery political statement, accusing the ruling powers of plotting to hijack the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections in the same manner as was allegedly done in Maharashtra.
While speaking to the media on Thursday, Raut drew historical and political parallels between the two states, warning of a potential mass uprising in Bihar.
“Attempts are being made to hijack Bihar elections, just like in Maharashtra. But this will lead to a revolution in Bihar. Whenever there has been a revolution in the country, it has happened in only two states – Maharashtra and Bihar. So we will have expectations from the people of Bihar,” said Raut.
