Mumbai: Bank Holiday on November 5, 2025: All major banks — public, private and rural branches — will remain closed on Wednesday, November 5 across several states in India. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared a holiday on account of two major festivals — Guru Nanak Jayanti and Kartik Purnima.
Although physical branches will remain closed, online banking, mobile banking, UPI payments and ATM services will continue as normal.

November 5 marks:
- Guru Nanak Jayanti — Birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru of Sikhism
