In a startling revelation, the Uttar Pradesh Police apprehended four individuals, including the Moradabad district president of Bajrang Dal, for their alleged involvement in orchestrating a cow slaughter scheme to frame a Muslim individual in a false case and conspire against law enforcement authorities.

The arrested individuals are identified as Shahabuddin from Chetrampur village in Moradabad district, Bajrang Dal leader Monu Bishnoi alias Sumit, along with his associates Raman Chaudhary and Rajiv Chaudhary.

The police investigation unfolded a sinister plot where Shahabuddin, with the assistance of Bajrang Dal members, sought to ensnare Maksud, against whom he harbored animosity, by fabricating evidence suggesting his involvement in cow slaughter.

The chain of events commenced on January 16 when the severed head of a cow was discovered on Kanwar Path, a route frequented by Hindu pilgrims during the Shravana month. Subsequently, another cow slaughter incident occurred on January 28 in Chetrampur village, where incriminating evidence, including Maksud’s photo, was strategically placed at the scene.

Upon interrogation, Maksud revealed the orchestrated nature of the scheme, implicating Shahabuddin and Jamshed. Allegedly, they collaborated with Monu Bishnoi and his associates to orchestrate the false accusation and pressure law enforcement agencies into compliance.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hemraj Meena elucidated that Bishnoi, recently released on bail for attempted murder charges, resumed his illicit activities to coerce police cooperation. Failing to manipulate authorities directly, Bishnoi devised the elaborate scheme to exert pressure through fabricated incidents.

The police uncovered the conspiracy through electronic surveillance, mobile tracking, and corroborative evidence. Two suspects remain at large as investigations continue.

The Moradabad police have filed FIRs under various sections, including criminal conspiracy, false charges, theft, and cow slaughter violations, exposing the depth of criminal intent behind the scheme.
