Rapper Badshah and Punjabi actor Isha Rikhi have announced that they are separating, just five months after their marriage.
The couple shared identical statements on their respective Instagram accounts on Monday night, confirming that the decision had been made mutually and asking for privacy as they move forward separately.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time,” Badshah wrote.
The statement also made clear that the couple did not intend to discuss the separation further and asked people not to speculate or make assumptions about their relationship. Isha shared an identical message on her Instagram Stories.
The announcement ends weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship.
Badshah and Isha Rikhi Married in March
Badshah and Isha reportedly married in an intimate ceremony in March 2026.
Their marriage first became public after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared photographs and videos from the wedding on social media. Badshah later posted photographs with Isha, although he largely kept their relationship away from public scrutiny.
The two had kept their relationship largely private before the marriage as well.

Who Is Isha Rikhi?

Isha Rikhi is known for her work in Punjabi cinema, including films such as Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De and Happy Go Lucky. She made her Hindi-film debut with Nawabzaade.
For Badshah, this was his second marriage. He was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he has a daughter. Their marriage ended in 2020.
Neither Badshah nor Isha has publicly given a reason for the separation.
Their joint statement remains their only comment on the matter, with both asking that their privacy be respected and further speculation avoided.
