New Delhi: On Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched the AAP ‘Budget’ Patra campaign, emphasizing that the initiatives of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) provide a monthly benefit of Rs 25,000 to every Delhi family, with additional schemes set to add another Rs 10,000 in savings.

During a press conference, Kejriwal pointed out that while budgets generally lead to inflation and affect household finances, AAP’s policies are designed to reduce financial burdens. He explained that with the current benefits, families save Rs 25,000 per month, and the upcoming schemes would contribute an additional Rs 10,000. “Pressing the ‘Jhadu’ button will ensure Rs 35,000 in savings, whereas choosing the ‘BJP’ will result in an equal monthly burden,” Kejriwal asserted.

The Delhi Chief Minister went on to detail several welfare schemes implemented by the AAP government, which have provided significant financial relief to the people of Delhi. “Our free electricity scheme saves Rs 4,000-Rs 5,000 monthly, free water saves Rs 2,500, free bus travel saves Rs 2,500, free education offers savings of Rs 10,000, and mohalla clinics and hospitals contribute another Rs 5,000 in savings,” he stated.

Kejriwal also targeted the BJP, alleging that if the opposition party came to power, they would discontinue all the welfare schemes initiated by AAP, undermining the financial benefits to Delhi’s citizens.
