New Delhi: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday praised Union Home Minister Amit Shah, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commendation during the NDA meeting held earlier this week.
Speaking to the media from Parliament premises, Shinde said, “Since the House is in session, I keep coming here, and our MPs have also met the Home Minister. Some issues related to their constituencies were discussed.”
He then revealed that during the NDA meeting, Prime Minister Modi lauded Amit Shah, calling him the Home Minister who has served the most number of days in the role.
“Yesterday, in the NDA meeting, PM Modi spoke highly of the Home Minister. He said Amit Shah is the Home Minister who has worked for the most days, and he has to work even more in the future, so we honored him,” Shinde added.
The statement comes amid ongoing discussions within the ruling alliance on governance, upcoming elections, and administrative priorities. Shinde’s remarks not only reflect internal unity within the NDA, but also aim to send a message of continuity and stability in key leadership roles.
