AGS, Krusan inaugurates new school building during the Annual School Alumni Meet

Srinagar: Under the umbrella of the clarion slogan given by Prime minister, Narendra Modi, ‘Padhega India Tabhi Toh Badhega India’, Army Goodwill School (AGS), Krusan is striving for excellence with ‘Live, Learn and Thrive’ . The concept has brought laurels to the school by producing many successful students in all fields including medical, engineering, sports and education which resulted into the first choice of students and parents in Lolab. Large number of parents are now approaching the school administration for admission to the AGS, Krusan.

Ensuring overall development of students with the joy of learning and keeping in view the requirement of ensuring quality education, the school administration has constructed a new school building consisting of 10 new classrooms as part of infrastructure development so as to accommodate more students and reach out to the young minds. The newly constructed school building was inaugurated during the Alumni Meet held on Saturday at Army Goodwill School, Krusan.

The school authorities, 25 successful school alumni, district administration including ASP, Kupwara; Chief Education Officer, Kupwara; SDM, Lolab; DSP, Lolab; SHO, Lalpora, other dignitaries from administrative department, parents and local populace alongwith students came together to bring the best school in the valley to its glory during inauguration function by witnessing the ceremony.

“Army Goodwill School, Krusan has been promoting innovative learning programmes like smart e-learning classes which have improved the quality of teaching and learning”, principal of AGS Krusan said during the ceremony.

“Army Goodwill School, Krusan has created a facilitating environment that enables effective learning and has successfully prepared children for future endeavours towards nation building”, said Chief Education Officer, Kupwara at the inaugural function of school building.

Large number of cultural programmes including songs, dance and speeches by dignitaries and alumni to motivate students with their success stories and to provide guidance to their Juniors were delivered during the function. Over 600 people from all walks of life witnessed the glorious event and provided their blessings for achieving the further glories and success of the school.
