ADC Handwara visits Jamia Jadeed, addresses the grievances of people, inspects different schools

Srinagar: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather on Thursday visited Jamia Jadeed locality of Handwara where people raised their grievances and demanded shifting of transformer from the close vicinity of Jamia Jadeed Masjid.

On the occasion, the ADC interacted with the people and Auqaf Committee members and heard their grievances patiently. He directed Executive Engineer PDD Handwara to shift the transformer from the Masjid to some other suitable place. ADC instructed Executive Officer Municipal Committee Handwara to repair the wash rooms near Handwara Bus Stand and Government Boys Higher Secondary school Handwara.

Residents have hailed the ADC Handwara for addressing their grievances.
Later, the ADC inspected the construction of ongoing irrigation Khul at Tumina. He impressed upon the XEN irrigation to ensure completion of the irrigation Khul within the stipulated time frame. He was accompanied by Tehsildar Ramhall and XEN irrigation.

In order to ensure punctuality and quality education in Government schools, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather paid a surprise visit to different schools of Handwara sub division and inspected their functioning.

During the visit, the ADC inspected Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) and Government Secondary School, Haftarada and interacted with the staff members of these schools. He enquired them about the performance and progress of the academic and co-curricular activities.

On the occasion, the ADC impressed upon the teachers and staff of these schools to work with added zeal and enthusiasm to make good atmosphere for quality education and best performance. He also interacted with the students.
