Actor Karan Wahi, known for his prominent roles in Hindi television dramas and reality shows, recently found himself in a distressing situation on the streets of Mumbai. In an alarming incident on Monday night, Wahi took to his Instagram stories to recount being harassed by a stranger, shedding light on the ordeal he endured.

According to Wahi’s Instagram stories, he was pursued by an unidentified man while driving in Mumbai. The actor revealed that the individual not only chased him but also resorted to verbal abuse. In a video shared by Wahi, the man can be seen trailing him on a scooter, allegedly assaulting Wahi’s car doors and hurling insults.

Expressing his frustration and seeking assistance, Wahi appealed to the Mumbai Police through his social media platform. He recounted the ordeal, stating that despite being the victim, he was subjected to baseless accusations and intimidation by the aggressor.

“The long story short. I took a right cut on the road cause there was a car ahead of me. This guy abused me and said CUT kaise mara and he started ranting ki tere jaise do kaudi ke TV actors bauhat dekhe hai,” Wahi shared, detailing the encounter.

In a bold move captured on camera, Wahi confronted the individual, urging him to cease his actions and warning him of impending police intervention. However, even after reaching out to law enforcement for assistance, Wahi found himself embroiled in a distressing confrontation.

Following the harrowing incident, Wahi took down his initial Instagram story, although screenshots circulated widely across social media platforms, drawing attention to the concerning encounter.

Subsequently, Wahi reassured his followers of his safety and expressed gratitude towards the Mumbai Police for their assistance. “I am safe, I am home. Have spoken to the cops. Hopefully this will get resolved. Thanku @mumbaipolice,” he wrote in a subsequent Instagram story.

Amidst the turmoil, Wahi continues to focus on his professional commitments. He is set to appear in the upcoming legal drama “Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani,” alongside Jennifer Winget and Reem Shaikh.
