Over 131 crore 99 lakh doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 76 lakh 36 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, nine thousand 265 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.36 percent. More than three crore 41 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.
The country reported seven thousand 992 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at 93 thousand 277. Presently the active cases constitute 0.27 percent of the country’s total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 65 crore 46 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
