MP: Corona curfew should be strictly followed so that zero percent positivity rate can be achieved, says Shivraj Singh Chouhan

In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Corona curfew should be strictly followed till May 31st so that zero percent positivity rate can be achieved. Chief Minister Chouhan said that a strategy is being chalked out to gradually lift the Corona curfew. He was addressing the covid control review meeting.

AIR correspondent reports that state on Monday reported 2,936 positive cases and 60 deaths while 6,989 patients recovered from the infection. The active cases in the state reduced to 53,653, while covid positivity rate reduced to 3.8 percent. More than 70, 000 samples are being tested every day.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister said that it will be our endeavour not to allow the third wave of Corona. However, keeping in mind the warnings of scientists, all necessary medical arrangements and preventive measures are being taken in advance.
