Through its hate for Modi, MVA is unleashing anarchy, says Ashish Shelar

PM Modi is trying to convert the Republic into Modi-Republic and Congress will not let that happen, says MPCC general secretary and spokesperson Sachin Sawant.

Mumbai: Out of their hate for Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Congress led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are unleashing anarchy, alleged senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader MLA Adv Ashish Shelar. Commenting upon the reactions of the MVA leaders on the violence during the farmer’s protests in New Delhi on Republic Day, the former Mumbai BJP president remarked that the MVA had lost its mind and is justifying violence, and wanted to know where the MVA will repent for its sins.

Lashing out at senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut, the senior BJP leader wanted to know as to why Raut who otherwise talks a lot is silent now. Taking on NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Shelar wanted to know as to why the NCP chiefs post did not support the Rishikesh Jondhale Army jawan from Bahirewadi in Kolhapur district and Army jawan Sangram Patil from Nigve Khalsa village in Karvir tehsil of Kolhapur district who were recently martyred on the border.

Questioning as to why the lips of the MVA leaders are sealed now, Shelar wanted to know as to whose anniversaries are celebrated by the urban naxals in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Dismissing the opposition charge over the handling of the farmers protest, he added that the Center acted with great restraint in handling the situation. Shelar further wanted to know whether the opposition wanted the police to open fire on the protestors. He further stated that the investigations into the incident will reveal the truth.

Reacting to the violent incidents during the farmers protests in New Delhi, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat called upon the need to protect the constitution from what he called dictatorial regime led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While MPCC general secretary and spokesperson Sachin Sawant remarked that the Prime Minister was trying to subvert the Indian Republic into Modi-Republic.
