A gang rape victim was set ablaze allegedly by her accused in Unnao on Thursday.
The men took her outside her village and into the fields and doused her in petrol before setting her on fire. Police have rushed to the spot and the woman was admitted to a nearby government hospital where she is in a critical condition.
The woman was earlier subjected to gang rape and the police did not take action on her complaint.
The incident has caused tension in the region.-IANS news
