Coronavirus pandemic has burdened medical staff and the majority of hospitals are turned into Covid-19 centers and due to this people are afraid to go to hospitals. So looking at this Shiv Sena MLA from Ovala-Majiwada assembly constituency Pratap Sarnaik has started a drive-in Thane and Mira Bhayander where he has converted Shiv Sena shakhas into a clinic for people who are suffering from minor illness. This initiative was started at Aditya Thackeray’s birthday, till now 89 clinics have been started and till Uddhav Thackeray’s birthday, they will have more clinics.
While speaking with TheNews21 MLA Pratap Sarnaik said, “Hospitals are heavily burdened and already have less medical staff, so why to trouble them and even people refrain from going to hospitals even if they have a minor illness. So if any person who is suffering from a cold, cough or fever can come to our shakha clinic and get it checked and we will give them medicine and all this is free of cost.”
“Around 150 people are getting checked every day in every shakha. Apart from this, we are also giving a kit in which there is a hand sanitizer, arsenic 30 and vitamin medicines. We have even provided PPE kits to our workers so they do not get infected.” Shiv Sena MLA concluded.

Apart from this, Shiv Sena in Mira Bhayander is setting up free medical camps in societies and even sanitizing the building.
“We put medical camps in societies, so people who have a fever, cough or small illness can get it checked here. We even sanitize societies and all this is free of cost,” said Shiv Sena worker Sayed Jishan.
Sarnaik has also distributed more than 3 lakh arsenic album 30 medicines to people free of cost in Mira Bhayander which is used as an immunity booster.
