10 people killed in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh, 10 people were killed in a road accident at Vedadri near Jaggayyapeta Mandal in Krishna District yesterday. The Incident occurred when a lorry collided with a tractor.

The deceased are from Madhira Mandal in Khammam District of Telangana State. The accident occurred, when a group of people were returning after a Darshan at Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. The deceased include four children. The injured later have been shifted to Government hospital at Jaggayyapeta.

Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has expressed shock over the road accident and expressed his grief to those family members of the deceased and also hoped for a speedy recovery of those admitted in the hospital for treatment.

Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhara Rao has expressed shock over the ghastly road accident and he wished speedy recovery of the injured. The Chief Minister also instructed Officials to extend all necessary support to the family members of those who died and to those who were injured in the incident.

TDP President and former Chief Minister of AP, N. Chandrababu Naidu has also expressed grief over the accident and demanded that the Govt should provide financial assistance to the families of the deceased and also to the injured. The Accident occurred in Krishna District in AP and the dead persons hail from Khammam area in Telangana.
