Mumbai: Pranjali Vinod Suraduse, a student of the MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research at MIT Art, Design and Technology (MIT-ADT) University, Pune, has brought laurels to Maharashtra by winning an individual gold medal at the 11th Senior National Minigolf Championship, held at Davra University, Chhattisgarh.
Representing Maharashtra, Pranjali played a pivotal role in helping the state team clinch the team gold medal and emerge as the Overall Champions of the national tournament.
In recognition of her consistent excellence and international achievements, the Minigolf Federation of India honoured Pranjali with the prestigious ‘Best International Minigolf Player’ award during the championship.
The Maharashtra team secured the national title with the tournament’s lowest aggregate score of 322 points, comfortably ahead of Chhattisgarh (345 points), which finished second, while West Bengal (348 points) claimed the bronze medal.
Pranjali has consistently excelled in the sport. Earlier, she won the gold medal at the Senior State Minigolf Championship in Nagpur and has represented India with distinction in several national and international competitions.
Congratulating Pranjali on her remarkable achievement, MIT-ADT University Founder President Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad and Executive President and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad praised her dedication, perseverance and sporting excellence, describing her success as a proud moment for both the university and Maharashtra.
