The Central Government has ordered the removal of BAT-BMS, Lossigy and Epoch-i-ion applications after receiving inputs that they were allegedly being misused to remotely disable battery-operated vehicles, according to sources.
As per media reports, the action is aimed at preventing any misuse of digital platforms that could affect the functioning of electric vehicles. Authorities have also indicated that any other applications found to be used for similar purposes will face similar action and may also be blocked.
