Abhijeet Dipke Calls For Delhi Protest, Plans Return To India On June 6
Online activist and Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced plans to return to India on June 6 and lead a demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, intensifying his campaign over alleged irregularities in major national examinations.
The announcement was made through a video message circulated on social media platforms, where Dipke urged supporters from across the country to join what he described as a peaceful movement seeking accountability from the education establishment.
Claims Of Massive Public Support
Dipke claimed that an online petition demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had attracted more than eight lakh signatures. He also asserted that millions of citizens had expressed support for the campaign through digital platforms and public discussions.
According to him, concerns raised by students and parents regarding examination-related controversies have not received an adequate response from authorities despite repeated appeals and demonstrations.
Focus On National Examination Issues
During his address, Dipke referred to several examinations, including NEET, CBSE assessments, CUET and SSC GD recruitment tests. He alleged that students had been adversely affected by a series of controversies surrounding the examination system and called for greater transparency and accountability.
The activist argued that young people across the country deserved a fair and reliable academic environment and said the issue had become a matter of national concern.
Protest Plan To Begin In Delhi
Dipke said supporters would be encouraged to gather near Delhi airport upon his arrival before moving forward with plans for a public demonstration. He added that he intends to approach local authorities and seek the necessary permissions for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar.
Emphasising constitutional rights, he said citizens should be allowed to voice concerns through democratic and non-violent means.
Says He Chose Activism Over Overseas Opportunities
The activist also revealed that he had recently received employment opportunities in the United States but decided to return to India instead. He said his decision was driven by a desire to contribute to public causes and raise issues affecting students and young people.
With the June 6 date approaching, attention is now turning to whether the proposed protest will draw significant participation and how authorities respond to the planned demonstration in the national capital.
