Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the ceremony and offered condolences to the grieving family.
He paid tribute to Prateek Yadav and met family members during the programme, reflecting a rare moment where leaders across political lines came together to express solidarity.

Prateek Yadav Passed Away at 38
Prateek Yadav passed away on May 13 after reportedly suffering a heart attack. He was 38 years old.
His last rites were performed the following day at Baikunth Dham crematorium in Lucknow.
The businessman was the son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and his second wife Sadhna Gupta.
Businessman, Fitness Enthusiast and Animal Welfare Supporter
Unlike many members of the Yadav political family, Prateek largely stayed away from active politics and focused on business and personal interests.
He held an MBA degree from the University of Leeds and was known in business circles as a real estate developer.
Prateek had also gained attention years ago for his fitness transformation and featured on an international bodybuilding platform in 2012.
Friends and associates remembered him as someone passionate about fitness, wellness and animal welfare initiatives.
