“They Want to Steal AAP Data”: Atishi Explodes Over ED Raid, Says “Goa Is BJP’s Next Target

Atishi Accuses BJP Of Misusing Central Agencies

Senior Atishi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging that central investigative agencies were being used to pressure opposition leaders ahead of upcoming state elections.

Speaking over the ongoing Enforcement Directorate action linked to Aam Aadmi Party leaders, the former Delhi Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly claimed the BJP was attempting to weaken political rivals through raids and investigations.

“The entire country saw how the BJP used the ED against the TMC,” Atishi said, alleging that similar action later shifted toward Punjab and was now targeting Goa.

“Goa Is Next After Punjab,” Says AAP Leader

Atishi claimed that leaders who refused to align with the BJP were facing legal pressure and arrests. Referring to party leader Sanjeev Arora, she alleged, “Leaders like Sanjeev Arora, who refused to join the BJP, were sent to jail.”

She further alleged that Goa had become the next political battleground where opposition leaders were being targeted before elections.

“Goa is next after Punjab,” she said, while accusing the BJP of attempting to influence the political environment ahead of the Assembly elections expected next year.

ED Raid At Residence Of AAP Functionary Sparks Political Row

The AAP leader also referred to an Enforcement Directorate operation conducted at the residence of party Goa co-incharge Deepak Singla.

According to Atishi, the raid began early in the morning and was linked to efforts to access internal party information.

“Since this morning, an ED raid has been going on at Goa Co-Incharge Deepak Singla’s residence,” she said, adding, “They are trying to steal all the data of Aam Aadmi Party.”

The Enforcement Directorate has not yet publicly responded to the allegations made by the AAP leader.

AAP-BJP Political Clash Intensifies Ahead Of Elections

The latest remarks have further escalated tensions between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP, with both sides frequently accusing each other of political misuse of institutions.

AAP leaders have repeatedly alleged that investigative agencies are being deployed to pressure opposition parties, while BJP leaders maintain that agencies are functioning independently under the law.
