Rajasthan electoral roll 2026 Election Commission SIR final voter list

Jaipur: The Election Commission of India on Saturday released the final electoral rolls for Rajasthan following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, marking the end of a months-long verification and updation exercise across the state.

Revision Exercise Spanned Nearly Four Months

According to officials, the revision process was conducted between October 27, 2025 and February 21, 2026, covering 199 Assembly constituencies, with Anta constituency excluded from the exercise.

At the start of the revision, Rajasthan had an electorate of over 5.46 crore voters. During the draft stage, a significant number of names were filtered out due to duplication, migration, death, or non-verification, resulting in a reduced draft roll published in December 2025.

Final Roll Sees Addition of Nearly 13 Lakh New Voters

After claims, objections, and field verification, the final electoral roll now stands at over 5.15 crore voters. Officials confirmed that nearly 13 lakh new voters were added, while more than 2.4 lakh names were removed during the final scrutiny.

The updated voter list reflects a net increase of over 10 lakh voters compared to the draft roll, indicating a growth of just over 2 percent in the electorate.

Jaipur Leads in Voter Growth Across Districts

Among districts, Jaipur recorded the highest voter growth, followed closely by Phalodi, Bharatpur, Sirohi, and Bundi. Election officials attributed the rise to urban expansion, increased youth enrolment, and improved voter outreach campaigns.

Gender Ratio and Youth Participation Show Improvement

The revision process resulted in a notable improvement in the gender ratio, which rose from 909 to 911, signaling better inclusion of women voters. Jaipur and Kota districts recorded the most significant gains in gender balance.

Officials also reported a sharp rise in first-time voters, with more than 4.35 lakh voters in the 18–19 age group added to the rolls. Jaipur alone accounted for over 1.3 lakh young voters, the highest in the state.

Electoral Roll Reflects Inclusive Representation

The final roll includes:

  • 2.69 crore male voters
  • 2.45 crore female voters
  • 562 transgender voters

Election authorities said this reflects sustained efforts to ensure inclusivity and accurate demographic representation.
