Patna: Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on the state’s ruling alliance, asserting that the “double-engine government” will not survive the next six months. Speaking at a public event in Bihar, Kharge said, “This double-engine government will not be there in the next 6 months, and the government that will come will be the government of the poor, the government of poor women, the government of Dalits…”
Kharge’s statement signals a renewed political push by the Congress in Bihar, highlighting promises of inclusive governance and focused attention on marginalized communities. The party aims to position itself as the voice of the underprivileged, promising social justice and empowerment for women, Dalits, and economically weaker sections.
