Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, crediting him for spearheading what he described as a “cultural renaissance” across India through the restoration and grand reconstruction of the nation’s religious heritage.

Highlighting key milestones, Dhami said:“Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, many remarkable and historic works are being done towards the preservation and strengthening of our religious and cultural heritage. Whether it is the construction of a grand and divine temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya after 500 years, the construction of a corridor in Kashi Vishwanath, the construction of Mahakal Lok, the reconstruction of Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham or the beginning of the pilgrimage to Adi Kailash, the holy place of our Lord Mahadev.”

The Chief Minister underlined that these projects are not merely infrastructural, but deeply symbolic. “Today, by restoring our religious heritage with divinity and grandeur, new directions of cultural renaissance are being influenced in the country,” he added.

Dhami also stressed that Uttarakhand, often called ‘Devbhoomi’, is playing a central role in this spiritual resurgence. “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, our government is also working with determination for the overall development of Uttarakhand as well as for the reconstruction and construction of religious places and to protect our identity,” he said.
