Kashmir: In a heartfelt address from Katra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflected on the transformation of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the region once gripped by terrorism has now begun to dream again, thanks to sustained development and peace efforts by the central government.

Speaking to a large gathering, PM Modi said: “J&K had seen so much destruction that the people here had stopped dreaming. They had accepted terrorism as their fate. We have brought them out of this situation…”

The Prime Minister emphasized how the people of Jammu and Kashmir are now aspiring for growth, prosperity, and cultural revival.

“The people here now want to see Jammu & Kashmir again become a location for shooting films. They want to see it become a hub of sports,” he added, highlighting a clear shift from fear to hope.
