Pakistan’s Own Dossier Reveals India Struck More Targets Than Claimed in Operation Sindoor: 28 Sites Hit, Not 20

New Delhi: In a major revelation that boosts India’s operational credibility, a Pakistani military dossier has inadvertently confirmed that India hit significantly more targets during Operation Sindoor than what was initially acknowledged. According to the document related to Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, Indian forces targeted 28 locations, not the 20 earlier disclosed by Indian authorities.

The detailed dossier lists areas such as Peshawar, Jhang, Hyderabad (Sindh), Gujrat (Punjab), Gujranwala, Bahawalnagar, Attock, and Chor, among others—marking a substantial expansion in the known scope of India’s precision strikes.

These new details underscore the extensive damage inflicted by India in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 Indian civilians lost their lives at the hands of Pakistani-backed militants. In response, India initiated a two-phase strike—first targeting terror camps across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), and then escalating to deeper military infrastructure in Pakistan.

The Pakistani dossier appears to contradict Islamabad’s earlier public statements that sought to downplay the impact of the Indian offensive. Analysts believe this discrepancy, now publicly visible, explains Pakistan’s rapid move to de-escalate and request a ceasefire within 72 hours of India’s operation.
