Bangkok: Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Bangkok on Thursday to participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit, set to be held on April 4. His visit underscores India’s commitment to regional cooperation under the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

During his stay in Bangkok, PM Modi is scheduled to hold talks with Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra on expanding bilateral cooperation. Additionally, he will meet King Maha Vajiralongkorn. This marks Modi’s third visit to Thailand and the first in-person BIMSTEC Summit since 2018.
