Mumbai: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has dismissed speculation about tensions within the Mahayuti government led by Devendra Fadnavis. His recent viral statements, including “Never take me lightly, or the cart will overturn” and “Don’t underestimate the beard; this very beard once drove your vehicle into a ditch”, sparked rumors of a cold war within the ruling alliance.
Shinde has now clarified that his remarks were directed at those opposing development, not his political allies. “There is no cold war between us. We are working together for the welfare of the people,” he asserted.
