In a rally at Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a robust vision for a “new Uttar Pradesh,” issuing a powerful slogan of “no curfew, no danga, UP mai sab changa” (no curfews, no riots, everything is fine in UP). He contrasted his administration’s achievements with the Samajwadi Party’s (SP) tenure, accusing it of fostering a culture of lawlessness, neglect, and violence.
Adityanath’s speech targeted the Samajwadi Party, characterizing it as an obstacle to development and alleging a history of criminal associations that threaten public order and women’s safety. The UP Chief Minister further remarked, “The Samajwadi Party has a problem with any good work that benefits society. If anyone sees a vehicle with an SP flag, they consider a big goon must be in it.” He highlighted incidents such as the Ayodhya rape case, attributing it to the SP’s alleged criminal elements, and stated that strong measures are needed to curb such behaviors.
The Chief Minister also drew attention to the current administration’s successes, claiming a sharp decrease in crime rates and the release of over 64,000 land plots from “SP goons” since 2017. He pointed out that, under previous SP and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) governments, the youth of UP faced an “identity crisis” but are now seen with respect across the nation. The BJP’s commitment to inclusivity, he said, ensures that all festivals are celebrated with equal joy, from Holi and Diwali to Eid and Christmas.
Further emphasizing the government’s social welfare measures, Adityanath noted programs like free employment-linked rations and the Ayushman Bharat health scheme, which has provided healthcare access to over 10 crore people in UP. His speech concluded with a call for unity and security under the BJP’s leadership, casting it as the key to a peaceful and prosperous future for Uttar Pradesh.
