Noel Tata played a central role in overseeing the arrangements for the funeral, reflecting his close ties to the Tata family and the Trusts.

In addition to his new role, Noel Tata has been a trustee of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, which, alongside the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, holds a 66% stake in Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group. His extensive experience in the business landscape positions him as a capable leader to guide the Trusts in their philanthropic endeavors.

With Noel Tata at the helm, the Trusts are expected to continue their commitment to social welfare, education, and health care, in keeping with the legacy of Ratan Tata.
