Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray has revealed the second list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election 2024, announcing key contenders for various constituencies. Among the notable announcements, Vaishali Darekar has been nominated as the candidate from Kalyan Lok Sabha Constituency. Additionally, Thackeray has entered the fray in the Hatkanangale Lok Sabha constituency by fielding Satyajit Patil, setting the stage for a three-way contest in the region.
This development comes after Thackeray’s earlier announcement of a list of 17 candidates, signaling the party’s strategic positioning ahead of the electoral battle.

He revealed that negotiations with Raju Shetty regarding the Hatkanangle Lok Sabha constituency did not reach fruition. Despite efforts to broker an alliance, Shiv Sena ultimately decided to field its candidate in Hatkanangle, thereby intensifying the electoral competition in the region.
Thackeray underscored the significance of Hatkanangle as a Shiv Sena stronghold, highlighting the party’s commitment to representing the interests and aspirations of the local populace. Despite extending support to Raju Shetty and proposing contesting elections under the torch symbol, the offer was declined, prompting Shiv Sena to assert its presence in the constituency independently.
