In a significant move ahead of the Maharashtra Lok Sabha Elections, the Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi (VBA) has announced its inaugural list of candidates vying for parliamentary seats in the state. Making the announcement via social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the VBA expressed its commitment to championing the voices of marginalized communities in the electoral arena.
In a tweet, the VBA stated, “The Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi is pleased to declare its first list of candidates from Maharashtra for the Lok Sabha elections.” This declaration underscores the party’s proactive approach in fielding candidates who represent the interests and aspirations of the Bahujan community.
Notably, the VBA has extended its support to the candidate nominated by the Indian National Congress (INC) from Nagpur, signaling a strategic alliance aimed at consolidating opposition forces against common adversaries. This collaborative stance reflects the VBA’s broader objective of forging alliances to amplify the impact of its political endeavors.
Furthermore, the VBA State Committee has affirmed its backing for Shri Prakash Shendage, representing the OBC Bahujan Party, in the Sangli constituency, should he choose to contest.
