Renowned actor Sunny Deol, known for his impactful performances, made a striking comeback with “Gadar 2” in 2023, which shattered box office records. Now, the actor is gearing up for his next big project, “Lahore, 1947,” produced by none other than Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. However, amidst his busy schedule, Sunny has hinted at exploring the digital realm with his debut on OTT platforms.

In a recent interview, Sunny revealed his foray into the digital space, expressing his eagerness to explore diverse content across various mediums. According to reports by Hindustan Times, Sunny is not limiting himself to traditional cinema but is actively seeking compelling narratives, regardless of the platform.

A source shared insights, stating, “Sunny has been in talks for OTT shows and films too, and they are ready to offer him big amounts. ‘Gadar 2’ has infused a new life into his career, and he himself understands that he will need to keep experimenting to stay relevant among a new generation.”

When questioned about his venture into OTT platforms, Sunny confirmed the news, emphasizing the importance of adapting to evolving audience preferences. He remarked, “It is going to be interesting because I am doing a couple of films, and those will give me a benchmark of how things are going to be in 2025. All the films I am doing are big-screen films. And yes I am also doing stuff for digital platforms.”

Elaborating further, Sunny emphasized the significance of exploring new avenues as an actor, stating, “As an actor, I feel it’s nice it will be seen. If I do loads of it, there will be another audience who will know I am capable of doing that too. Unless I do it, that can’t happen. One doesn’t want to do only one kind of stuff.”

Meanwhile, the anticipation for “Lahore, 1947” continues to grow, with Aamir Khan Productions announcing the project with great excitement earlier in October 2023. The film marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi after their cult classic, “Andaz Apna Apna,” promising a cinematic spectacle for audiences. With a stellar cast including Preity Zinta and Karan Deol, the stage is set for an unforgettable cinematic experience that transcends eras and captivates hearts.
