Several Bollywood celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Madhuri Dixit, attended the historic Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on Monday (January 22). However, a now-viral video captured the moment when security officials asked Ranbir and Alia to stop at the temple gate, leading to some confusion.
In the video, the security guard politely informs them that they are at the wrong entry gate. Both Ranbir and Alia quickly understood the situation, with the latter saying, “Koi baat nahi.” The video also shows Rohit Shetty, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, and Madhuri Dixit in the company of the couple.
Despite the brief hiccup at the entry gate, Ranbir expressed his excitement for the grand and historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony during an interaction with Times Now. The Animal actor shared, “It’s a big pride. I feel extremely lucky and blessed to be here. I just wish I could have brought my daughter Raha here to experience this historic moment. It just feels great. Jai Shri Ram.”
Ranbir donned an off-white dhoti and kurta for the occasion, while Alia chose to wear a teal Ramayana-inspired saree.
Apart from Bollywood celebrities, the ceremony saw the presence of various sports personalities, politicians, and businessmen, creating a significant and diverse gathering for this historic event.
