In a heart-wrenching incident that has sent shockwaves through the region, 31 individuals, including 16 infants, tragically lost their lives within a 24-hour period at a government hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra. He stated that six male and six female newborns had tragically passed away during that time. Additionally, he mentioned that 12 adults had succumbed to various conditions, including snake bites, among others.
However, as investigations into the incident continued, the death toll continued to rise, ultimately reaching a staggering 31 lives lost. This included seven more individuals, including four infants, reportedly losing their lives in the span of 24 hours.
Hospital authorities have attributed these tragic deaths to a shortage of necessary medicines and a lack of sufficient staff employed at the premises. This incident has sparked outrage among the public, and questions are being raised about the state of healthcare facilities and their readiness to handle medical emergencies in Maharashtra.
