Srinagar: The Kashmir Police Zone reported that three army troopers sustained injuries during a recent gunfight, as search operations are intensified in the Halan forest area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
In a tweet, the Kashmir Police Zone stated, “Three (03) jawans got injured in the encounter. They are being evacuated to the hospital for treatment. Search in the area intensifies. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier, a gunfight erupted between militants and security forces in the wooded region of Halan.
