Karnataka Elections 2023: Laxman Savadi joins Congress after being snubbed by BJP

Former Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi, who resigned from the BJP on Wednesday, joined Congress today ahead of the Karnataka polls. He quit the saffron party after he did not get a ticket.

Former deputy chief minister Laxman Savadi met former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his residence on Friday, he also met Karnataka Congress chief Dk Shivakumar.

“Former BJP leader & former Karnataka Deputy CM Laxman Savadi has joined Congress today,” said State Congress president DK Shivakumar, in Bengaluru.
